Proverbs 19:27-29

²⁷ Cease listening, my son, to discipline,
And you will stray from the words of knowledge.
²⁸ A vile witness scoffs at justice,
And the mouth of the wicked ^(A)swallows up iniquity.
^29 [a]Judgments are established for ^(B)scoffers,
And ^(C)beatings for the back of fools.
